I have a Facebook page, and on this page I asked folks if they thought that posting on social media mattered.
Overwhelmingly, they said that it did.
However, most noted that posting on Facebook and other social media wasn’t enough. After all, if you don’t combine your agenda promotion with real world action, then you’re not actually accomplishing much.
To that end, I wrote about resources that you have as Americans to change the country. I wrote about civics as well. And I started a petition against the bombing of the middle east and wrote about why the wars must end.
Now, some of you have seen this and been inspired to do something, and that is awesome!
However, it’s not enough.
We need everyone who cares about the issues to do things in real life; not just a few people.
To that end, I would like to ask for suggestions. How do you get people motivated? What do you think would help inspire people to care? How can we get folks to actually call their representatives?
I welcome any and all suggestions.
My goal is to take the revolution off social media and into the real world, with thousands of letters to the white house and calls to representatives.
