As you know, the protest at Standing Rock is still going strong, and it’s getting harder for the water protectors as the cold sets in.
A friend of mine has joined the protest at Standing Rock, and is working as a camp organizer.
The main concerns he is seeing in the camps right now are:
1. No where to shower.
2. No where to do laundry.
3. Not enough warm clothes.
4. Not enough tents/yurts/teepees for all.
If you are able to help by donating some old winter coats or long underwear, that would be great.
He set up a P.O. box to receive supplies:
P.O. Box 1011
Fort Yates ND 58538
You can also donate to his Go Fund Me page, so they can get a hotel room for all the protesters to take turns using the showers and laundry facilities.
